Publisher's Synopsis
Dr. Ellie Sullivan has just completed her residency at a large urban hospital. While jogging in a park nearby, she witnesses the shooting of an FBI agent in pursuit of wanted criminals, a couple identified as the Landrys. As the only one to see the killer's face, Ellie is called to testify. But the couple has been caught and released. Each time they come out of prison though, the witnesses to their crimes start to disappear. Agent Max Daniels has been assigned to the case and he vows to keep Ellie safe. But that's dangerous for both of them and it isn't long before the sparks fly...
