Many of us are abused, and many of us are also abusers, and we live in the shadows, un-noticed and unheard. We never really know anyone-we get glimpses, and we fill in the blanks, often incorrectly. We are, each, the sum total of our history, our lineage, our environment, and our society, and for Mary-Jane it was no different.
