Publisher's Synopsis
The carrot has been sitting in the shadow of a big oak tree for some time now. He is convinced that he will never grow as big as the other carrots in the garden. So he sets out on a quest to be free. Once he is finally free, he gets frightened because he is lost. He decides to stop and rest for a while when suddenly he is awoken by a hungry giant. The carrot is in for an adventurous ride as he tries to find his way home and in doing so he also finds his place in the world.
