Shell pyriform, ventricose, somewhat attenuated posteriorly, slightly beaked at both ends, rather thin, semi-transparent, white, encircled with an orange line at the margin, very obscurely decus sated; aperture rather wide, arched, milk-white within; columella With a thickened ridge at the upper part, somewhat excavated below, with a strong plait at the canal; outer lip denticulate.
