The Mystery Religions of Gladovia is an extraordinary mixture of gay BDSM, speculation about the meaning of beauty and of the spring, travel through the UK, Europe and South America, mountain scenery, a sex diary and even some comedy. It begins and ends in England, where the two main characters, both gay, are headmaster and student at the same school. After diverse travel in different countries, they both end up in the fictional South American country of Gladovia. There they finally meet, with unforeseeable consequences.
