The chief object of the following pages is to indicate some of the difficulties and problems which will have to be overcome before the gg' advocates of the movement for the establishment of if a third political group can attain their end. T - l The point of View adopted is that of a collectivist cg and democrat whose enthusiasm has been tempered by an intimate and practical experience of the work of political organisation among the working-classes. The subject matter is drawn mainly from a course of lectures delivered under the auspices of the Union.
