Publisher's Synopsis

This contemporary symphonic poem was written for piano and taiko drums in sonata form (koi and summer day themes). (Annotations of the composer: The words to the 1st of the 4 parts " ... su! = ... cute!" about the one, the finest koi in the pond approaching in the high c' note of a solo soprano adds vocal music to the symphony (as well as the other text lines). Make it a musical if you like or just leave out the words! The story you may hear is the following: Two people, owner and friend, walk to the pond/lake - some may rather imagine deer or horses, cats, a lion maybe in a parc - it should be an appearance of a rather majestic beloved companion we keep for years in as natural of an environment as we possibly can! And we love to show them to close friends! - Instrumental 4 parts with percussion or even with this extended vocal score. (upto repetition whenever you hear the themes in the piece) The original words in this score's first part are German about the beautiful summer day - they can easily be translated into any other language. Enjoy! The music CD is also available.
