The subject of The Spirit Who Makes you Sons is our sonship in Christ, which is a topic that encompasses the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation. We have endeavored to present this story sequentially, from beginning to end, covering many intertwining themes along the way. This incredible story began in eternity past when our Heavenly Father chose to create this world and populate it with human children, male and female, conformed to His own image and likeness. Moreover, the Father's plan was motivated entirely by His Divine Agape Love. This book is divided into three sections. The first section deals with the origin of our sonship in Christ. We will show that it is patterned upon the everlasting relationship between God the Father and His only begotten Son. The second part of this book deals with the finished work of Christ and our identification with Him in His death, burial and resurrection. We will demonstrate that our status as the sons and daughters of God is entirely founded upon what Christ has accomplished for us through His finished work. The last section deals with the present work of the Holy Spirit, focusing on both the empowerment and the indwelling of the Spirit. It is through the working of the Spirit that we attain to maturity and come to abide in Christ, fulfilling our destiny as the sons and daughters of God. Gary K. Larson is an itinerant Bible Teacher who lives in Columbus Ohio. He and his wife Maureen have three grown children, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Gary's first career was in astronomy, but God called him into the Gospel ministry over forty-five years ago. He taught in a Bible school for nearly ten years before entering into an itinerant ministry. The Spirit Who Makes you Sons is Gary's second book.
