A tired, depressed, and forlorn woman plagued by a 'curse' all her life, fate finally sees Constance hanged. Becoming something akin to a spirit, she is swept away to a world like and unlike our own when a magical apocalypse is in its earliest infancy. Lost in a densely populated jungle of concrete, she resorts to what life taught her-hide, run, steal, adapt. Yet Constance quickly realizes that everything she touches is either made sick by her ghostly body or devoured by the noose that haunts her long after her death. A LitRPG origin story unlike any other: experience the chaotic melancholy, live her struggle, and laugh when curiosity brings light to the Tenebrous. Life. Death. Loneliness.
