Publisher's Synopsis
This book is written descriptively to inspire a child's imagination to fantasise about a place called Biscuit Town. The illustrations are vibrant and colourful depicting a candy garden, buildings made out of different biscuits, waffle roofs and chocolate roads. The main characters are pixies and dwarfs. The author has included a few bigger words to teach new sounds and pronunciation, improve a child's vocabulary, learn about sentence construction, and to develop literacy skills. The book conveys a message about love and forgiveness which assists in developing a child's social skills and, more specifically, how to communicate with other kids. Three free bookmarks have been included in the book which makes great little 'rewards' for when children warrant acknowledgment. This idea is a great way to encourage children to read.
