Gabriel John Utterson is a London lawyer investigating the strange occurrences between his old friend, Dr. Henry Jekyll, and a sinister figure, Edward Hyde. After a number of incidences involving Hyde, Utterson begins to fear that he is blackmailing his friend and begins to investigate. By the time the truth of the mystery is revealed Jekyll's struggles between his two personalities has become more than he can bear.
