Claiming the survey performed in 1818 was in error the State of Georgia sues the State of Tennessee to claim access to the Tennessee River at Nickajack Lake. Then, a document hidden for 200 years is discovered that threatens the claims of Georgia and Tennessee. Litigation follows to settle the question: Who owns Nickajack Lake? Georgia, Tennessee or the Cherokee Nation?
