Michael Harris loses his father and martial arts instructor in a massacre in Japan.
When he's sent back to England, to live with his estranged mother, he is dislocated and unhappy. He is also a target for his father's enemies. The only thing that saves him is the masterful training he received from his Sensei.
Michael had a sacred text in his possession and the Yakuza will do anything to retrieve it, including the destruction of Michael's remaining family.
But Michael is being watched by the Security Services, and when the Yakuza decide to lure him back to Japan, MI6 are there to back him.
