Collection of two films starring Grace Kelly. In 'To Catch a Thief' (1955), ex-cat burglar John Robie (Cary Grant) finds himself forced to prove his innocence after a spate of burglaries on the French Riviera. The only way he can clear himself is by catching the real thief and in order to do so he enlists the help of reluctant insurance man H. H. Hughson (John Williams). After learning the location of the most expensive jewels in the Riviera, he begins a relationship with the owner Francie (Kelly), believing the thief will strike again. In 'The Country Girl' (1954), based on the play by Clifford Odets, Bing Crosby stars as alcoholic, guilt-ridden has-been Broadway star Frank Elgin, while Kelly turns in an Oscar-winning performance as his dedicated wife Georgie. When hotshot young director Bernie Dodd (William Holden) tries to get Elgin back on his feet by offering him a role in his new musical, his initial impression of the Elgins' marriage gives way to admiration for Georgie, and the discovery that all is not as it first seemed...
