Publisher's Synopsis
Everything changed the day Phoenix and his friends defended their camp against War and his legions in the Blizzard of Souls. The human survivors now number fewer than a dozen, but something keeps them fighting, and they live on. Phoenix can feel himself becoming something different; rage has destroyed the once innocent boy he had been. He's being called to the last battle, which will determine the fate of the planet once and for all. The survivors will take on Death himself, and only time will tell whether or not they have a hope of succeeding.
