At Insectamentary School, Twinkle is teased and tormented by a group of other firefly girls who enjoy short circuiting her self-esteem. However, as problems start to arise in the fantastical insect city, Twinkle faces the biggest challenge of her life when those same girls who have tortured her now need her help.
