Publisher's Synopsis
A cargo of trouble. Six working girls, ladies of the line, have decided to seek their fortune on the gold rich beaches of Nome, Alaska. Captain Lundstrom and his crew have the task of escorting them safely. A criminally insane murderer is on board. Ship detective Stumpy Macfarlane, has to use his best planning to stay on step ahead of the murderer. To assist him, Stumpy has his crew of regulars: Nurse Matty, chef Wing, Purser Bobby Burns, and a special guest, Lawman, Wyatt Earp. The Victoria is put on lock-down, and still the murder manages to find victims.
