Publisher's Synopsis
The 30 cards in this set may be used: to introduce basic art concepts; to strengthen reading skills; to re-teach concepts; to assess student learning; to build art vocabulary; to play art learning games; as part of co-operative learning exercises; to reinforce lesson information. Each card includes a visual example and a sentence that describes it. A blank underlined space indicates the art term or terms to be identified. Sentences are in both English and Spanish. The missing word appears on the back of the card in both English and Spanish. Cards are grouped into four major categories: Elements of Art and Design, Principles of Art and Design, Art Forms and Media, and Themes and Styles. These categories are identified at the top of each card. Cards are numbered for ease of use.
