Publisher's Synopsis
Volunteer Training Guide for the Community-Based One Life One Heart (OLOH) International Program, is a resource for pre-service/in-service volunteer training and self-help resource, developed to help public venues and on-site volunteers with their roles and responsibilities when serving victims of sexual abuse through the OLOH Program. The Guide sets forth the guidelines that help manage and protect the operation and the mission of the OLOH Program, and the involvement of public venues (such as churches, schools and libraries) and volunteers.
OLOH International intends to offer victims of sexual abuse its program through public venues. In that case, the OLOH Program can be offered by public venues themselves or can be offered through those public venues by a group of individuals from their communities who will eventually serve as core volunteers. We in OLOH consider churches as our main public venues. We in OLOH are passionate about seeing God use churches along with their on-site volunteers to glorify Him as we serve victims of sexual abuse. We apply knowledge and skills, and integrity of the heart in all aspects of OLOH's programs and services, ensuring that OLOH continues making a significant impact on the lives of victims of sexual abuse as well as the general public.
