Publisher's Synopsis

Events have a habit of changing lives in some way or another. Some of us endure hardships through part, most, or all of our lives. Emotional, physical, and psychological abuses can change us. Being ignored, bullied, left alone, or rejected can cause emotions to run rampant through our hearts and minds. It isn't that we want to deal with the long-term heartbreaks, the anger, or the loneliness left in the aftermath; rather, many of us are left with little choice when there are no shoulders to lean on.I have been bullied and left alone for a large portion of my life. My heart never seems to stop getting broken. Over the years, I wrote several poems and prose that described how I felt about my loneliness and how I dealt with it. This collection documents some of the internal battles that I faced through my own hardships. Many of them have been lost, but this collection consists of my works that have battled through time to enable me to publish them now. It is my hope that my past works collected in this short volume will reach those out there in this world who are cold, hurt, and alone emotionally. It is my intention that those who read this will realize that they are not alone in this world and that they do not fight by themselves. I desire only a listening ear and an open heart of understanding to at least try to comprehend the feelings that those of us who have experienced the pain of this world have felt and still do feel today.
