He journeys off-grid with his culturally diverse friends through the desert and seascape of western and northern Australia, where he becomes acutely aware that there are so many problems to solve, and with such little time. To name but a few: there are the spokes of the earth's wheel, the out-of-date proverbs, and the antiquated ancient laws of the conquest.
