Whitehaven

Whitehaven is a tightknit community tucked up in the mountains of Southern California. When a local drug lord is murdered, and his body goes missing, the city is reluctantly forced to call in a young, hotshot detective from Los Angeles for help. But with such a small group of locals, most of whom are unwilling to help, not alone talk to anyone in law enforcement, it's clear that this case is going to require significant undercover work. Detective Corrales finds his opening into the local thrill-seeking hang-gliding group through local pizza entrepreneur Sam Hossler. She's tied not only to the heavily tattooed hang-gliding gang who seems to run the city, but she's also the last known person to have seen the murder victim alive. While Sam is cautiously aware of the criminal case being investigated, Detective Corrales keeps diving deeper into her troubled past. This isn't the first murder she's been connected with, and it might not be the last. As the detective becomes embedded with the hang-gliders, and Sam, he stumbles across the new drug lord leading the meth ring in the mountains, and he's unsure of how to handle it without blowing everything he's worked so hard to achieve. As the case begins to slip through his fingers, will the detective make it out of the mountains alive? Or will Whitehaven claim another man?
