John Wing Jr is best known as a comedian. And he is now clearly established as one of the most original, enduring and popular comedians around. In 2006, he created, co-wrote and starred in the CBC Radio network series "Man, Woman & Child" which ran for an unprecedented 17 episodes. He is a regular contributor to the weekly CBC Radio network program "Definitely Not the Opera". In addition, he has appeared for seven consecutive years at the Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival and he is a regular performer at the annual Winnipeg Comedy Festival where, last year, he hosted the 'Blood Relations' gala. Beyond radio and annual comedy festivals, John Wing Jr. has appeared on six Tonight Shows on national television in the U.S. and he has two hour-long Comedy Now! Specials at the Comedy Network, John Wing: Fly Me and John Wing: The Elvis Years. He is also a very accomplished poet.
