Lottie Hope wakes chained in the pitch black unable to even see her hand in front of her face and with no recollection of what has happened to her. As she starts to piece together her memories, her thoughts inevitably turn to the one person who she has ever despised... who she has ever loved; Cal Winters. One thing is clear in her mind; wherever she is and whatever has happened to her Cal will know because for some reason they can see and hear one another's thoughts.
