This is a compilation of the journals, writings and letters of Sky Cady as he hitchhiked across Europe. In the winter of 2004 I hitchhiked 8,000 miles through 26 countries, visiting 23 missionaries over four and a half months, living on $4 a day, reading books, making notes and learning what it means to depend on the Lord for daily necessities in material and spiritual ways. The goal of the trip was to learn from, encourage and serve missionaries with the overarching goal of getting to know God better. Through many adventures I reached these goals and more. I read 17 books, saw countless answers to prayer, and discovered through the testing time of my character out there that God is one who can be relied on. This book is a combination of the journals, emails, and letters written, communicating what God was doing in and through me during this amazing adventure.
