My Mom and Dad's love story played out in real life for seven decades. As a soldier in the U.S. Army, Dad married Mom and soon after was sent overseas to take part in World War II. Through his creative gift of drawing, Dad sent his declarations of love to Mom, expressed through hand-made, hand-drawn cards. My family is fortunate to have preserved many of these cards for nearly 70 years. This book shares their love story, told "artfully" through my Dad's unique, one-of-a-kind cards for my Mom.
