The Tamm's Textbook Tools series of student activity books are an accompaniment all year long. This on-level World History companion is filled with vocab, activities and assignments that follow the Ellis and Esler World History text page by page. These activities can be used as regular daily or weekly assignments, reviews, or here and there as a supplement to the class. They can be used on short notice if there is a sub, or be assigned as homework. All you need is the textbook, physical or online. Teachers can copy at will, and parents can use the book as a student consumable. The rationale for having this workbook is that publishers now put so much of their extra content online, traditional classwork is increasingly left lacking. Many students still find it valuable to write and keep notes for themselves on paper, and portfolios still matter. The activities in this new edition challenge students to apply the concepts, give examples, diagram chapters, and think things through with the authors.
