The difference between education and inner wisdom/knowledge is that education is received from academic institutions but inner wisdom/knowledge of objective realities and of unseen truths is endowed - directly and/or indirectly - by the Almighty alone. Certificates and degrees give evidence of one's level of education, but there is no physical evidence to know how much wisdom/knowledge a normal person possesses, let alone a gifted one. Islam provides knowledge of this world and of divine and ultimate truths. One can be educated about the religion of Islam, but its inner wisdom and philosophy only comes from Allah. Therefore, whomever Allah wills to guide and to whom He reveals knowledge of the unseen, He opens his heart for Islam (Qur'an 6:25).
