Yoga has been around for a long, long time. It started in India over 5,000 years ago! People used yoga to help them feel strong, flexible, and centered. Today, people all over the world practice yoga to feel healthy, happy, and balanced. When we do yoga, we move our bodies in different ways, like bending, twisting, and stretching. We also focus on our breath, which helps us feel calm and relaxed. Yoga is not just about exercise, though. It's also about being mindful and aware of our thoughts and feelings. Yoga is a combination of physical postures (called asanas), breathing techniques (called pranayama), and meditation practices. All of these elements work together to create a rounded practice that benefits our entire being. One of the coolest things about yoga is that it can help us in so many ways.
