Growing up, Kaya didn't have an easy life. Being the only child and having a mom that didn't care about her at all, Kaya had to survive the best way she could. When she gets kicked out because her mom just doesn't want to deal with her, she knows exactly who she can run to. Now that Kaya is older, she realizes how terrible of a mom she really had, but thanks to her mom Kaya learned how to be a go getter. She's all about her money because she refuses to struggle like she did when she was younger. She doesn't need a man for anything because she feels like it is too much drama that comes with them. Royal is the man in the streets. He is respected all over Atlanta because his and rang bells. It seemed like everywhere he went, there was always a woman in his face trying to be lucky enough for him to take them home. Royal does what he wants, when he wants and doesn't care what anyone has to say about it. He has the same mindset as Kaya when it comes to relationships, but when he meets Kaya, that all changes. Royal thinks that Kaya is his soulmate and he has no problem letting her know how he feels. Kaya, on the other hand isn't so sure about her own feelings. This is all new to her, because she's used to keeping her feelings at bay. Will Kaya let her guard down and let Royal sweep her off of her feet? Or will she treat him like she treats all of the other men that comes in her life?
