Prissy Rooney, a senior member of the South Poppy Hills High School Dance Team, is a typical teenager. She lives in a mid-sized city in flyover country in the middle of a divided America obsessed with guns, God, superheroes and fame. Her parents are vacant. Her classmates are terrible.
