In 2055 Grandmother Erika is reminiscing with her granddaughter Grace. Fifty four years earlier, Erika was living in Manhattan, working at a hip advertising agency not far from the World Trade Center. She lived in a fashionable, over- priced apartment and wore couture clothes.

With self centered curiosity, Erika meets the tall man's sister, sons and caretakers who peel back layers of his truth. As her heart softens, Erika finally meets the man who calls himself Zefram. Little does she know this troubled man and his family will transform her outlook forever.
